Try and keep your notes in a book or in one place so you can find what you are looking for when needed.
Planning your meals in advance.
Planning meals gives you time to stock up with ingredients and takes one less task off your plate.

I suggest adding the list on your phone so you have it when you shop so you don’t run out of the necessities that you need. Here is a downloadable shopping list from Believe by Design to help you organize your life and feel amazing.
Trashing and unsubscribing spam mail.
Doing this right away helps you keep your mailbox tidy and not on the overwhelming amount of junk mail to deal with every time you open your mail.

Please, please, please back up your computer to an external hard drive. It’s always the night before a big meeting or a project is due that “Murphy’s-law” decides to visit - so make sure you are backed up with all your information.

How often do we run out of battery at that important moment!!! Try to remember to charge your battery on your phone and computer.

Setting your wall clock 10 min early helps you get your appointments on time.

A tidy desk is a tidy and productive mind. Put those papers in piles and even though you know where everything is when it is cluttered, being organized honestly will help your productivity.
Color code your office.
I love color-coding, with stickers or markers or colored folders. You can find what you are looking for easily and it's easy putting papers in the correct place.

Wash your dishes before you go to bed so you can start your day fresh don’t have to wake up to grimy, stubborn sticky food on dishes from the night before.

Recycling is being environmentally conscious. It takes the same amount of time to separate your trash and makes such a great difference to our environment
Take out the trash.
Taking out the trash every night. It’s healthier than leaving old food in the bin overnight (for insects to find). It keeps odors’ away and running out in the morning with kids, bags and trash bags can be overwhelming.
Keep your medicine cabinet tidy.
Opening your medicine cabinet and having bottles everywhere can be so frustrating and a time absorber. Purchase small containers and place your makeup, bottles, etc. in containers so they are easy to find and start your day off right!
Use small bins for toys.
I always had tidy-bins in the living area for my kid's toys and clothes that were left in the living area. It contains the mess and you can just take the tidy-bins to unpack in their rooms at the end of the day. This is such a great way to keep your home tidy.
Finish one task at a time.
Finishing one task at a time gives us clarity to move ahead as well as the satisfaction that we have completed a task. It is so hard for us to move forward when we are jumping from one thing to another.
Tidy your Linen Closet.
There is nothing better than opening your laundry closet and finding neatly folded towels and linens–so it is so worth the extra minute when putting the laundry away to fold and organize your linen closet.
Use multiple laundry bags.
Having separate laundry bags or containers for colors, whites, and darks cuts your laundry sorting time and makes laundry so much more do-able.
Tidy and donate your clothes.
We all have clothes that we don’t wear. Cleaning out your closet helps you find that article of clothing you were looking for as well as donating clothes to a person in need.
Make your bed.
Making your bed when you wake creates a tidy room and gets you ready for your day. When you flop onto the bed at night, there is nothing better than a well-made bed.
Take a break!
Taking breaks during the day is so important (I have to say I am so bad at this one). It is important for your body and mind to move and clear your head ready for the next task.
Clean out your purse.
Some of us have too much stuff in our purses. With a cleaned out purse, we can finally find our keys or phone. This is a definite stress reliever.
Find a place for your keys.
Losing our keys can be annoying, so find a place in your home to store your keys.
Keep your car clean.
Keeping your car tidy is a hard one if you have kids. Use the car compartments to store items you need.
Set birthday reminders.
Forgetting a family or a friends birthday can make us feel uncomfortable, (we all forget sometimes), so set that reminder on your phone and make sure to check the “every year’ tab reminder in your phone.
